Welcome to Pet Bytes, the official blog of Arlington Animal Clinic. We are a new, locally owned veterinary practice serving the Arlington, Fort Caroline, and Dames Point neighborhoods of Jacksonville, Florida. We’re so glad you’ve found us and we look forward to serving the pets of Jacksonville for many years to come.

We hope to use this space as a place to:

Educate and Inform

Is peanut butter safe for my dog? Can I bathe my cat? Why is my dog making this funny noise? We’ll tackle the serious questions and even the weird ones. There may be some icky talk about vomit and poop, but we need to discuss these topics for the sake of your pet’s health and well-being. We’ll try to make this as fun as possible, albeit poop discussions may never really be fun. All the while, we promise not to spit out AI-generated content. Anyone can press a button and have ChatGPT spew out an article on some pet topic. It takes a human to do this with some class, humor, and style.

Converse

We hope to make this a space for discussion. So long as we don’t find bots creating bogus replies to our posts, please feel free to comment on any post. As soon as we see foreign princes trying to send us money or alluring ladies trying to entice us to their personal sites, we’ll have to reevaluate our position on commenting. Until then, do comment.

Entertain

This is the fun part. As you can already tell, we have a sense of humor at Arlington Animal Clinic. That doesn’t mean we’re not a professional medical team, but sometimes it’s get emotionally draining working with sick and dying pets, so we hope to keep this blog as upbeat and fun as possible.
